Hello!

I’m Casey, a Hong Kong-born, New Zealand-raised photographer now based in London.

I photograph the moments that make me stop. A pocket of light, an unexpected silhouette, someone passing through a space at exactly the right time. I’m fascinated by finding moments of calm amongst the noise and movement of a city.

My background in graphic design plays a big part in how I see. I’m always looking for geometry, grids, colour and composition, but it’s the unpredictability of the streets that keeps things exciting. Sometimes everything comes together for just a second. That’s the moment I’m chasing.

My camera has taken me through London, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand and cities around the world. Wherever I am, the approach stays the same: walk, observe, follow the light and see what happens.

Alongside my street photography, I bring the same instinctive and observational approach to my commercial work, photographing brands, people and events.
